How we can help

Our professional services for everyone.

  • We are a team.  We will discuss the best route for your treatment and I will encourage you to express your needs throughout our work together. Typically, we will start by discussing coping skills that will be beneficial for our continued work together.  These skills will encapsulate your life and be supportive, but not overwhelming.

Once we have a “menu” of coping skills to choose from and you maintain a level of stability then we will work through any past issues and/or negative cognitions that reinforce your feelings and maladaptive behaviors and move towards finding freedom from the parts of yourself that hold you back.

  • Relationships can be challenging. Society often places significant expectations on partners to fulfill all of each other's needs. Balancing the roles of best friends with the desire, passion and excitement can feel overwhelming. Unfortunately, many couples find themselves caught in toxic patterns of behavior, leading to a decline in mutual appreciation and the buildup of resentment. This can result in stonewalling and defensiveness. My role is to assist you in breaking this cycle. We begin by fostering appreciation for one another. I will address problematic behaviors and help you explore the underlying issues. Once we establish a strong foundation of appreciation, we will work towards processing past resentments once and for all. Then, we will focus on rebuilding your relationship. This process will not be easy; I challenge both partners and will hold you accountable. You will be asked to embrace change and acknowledge your mistakes. If you both commit to each other, you will emerge stronger on the other side, but it requires a mutual decision to prioritize your partnership.

  • Group therapy is a type of mental health treatment where a small number of people meet regularly to talk about their feelings, experiences, and challenges. It’s led by a trained therapist who guides the discussion. The idea is that sharing in a group can help people feel less alone and gain new insights from others who are experiencing similar issues. Participants can offer support to each other, learn new coping strategies, and work on their personal goals in a safe environment. Topics vary.

  • For individuals seeking clinical supervision, please reach out to me to discuss your needs and available resources. I will maintain a log of your hours and our discussions, and I will complete the necessary paperwork upon the completion of your supervised hours. I offer flexibility in scheduling and supervision modalities, including group sessions for 3 to 5 clinicians. My rates are income-based, and I also provide other options for adjusted rates. Please feel free to contact me to discuss your supervision requirements.
